Comments:  This novel really interested me, so much so that at different times I found myself stay up late , very late reading it.  It is also rather long.   It starts slow but the action of the plot really picks jp/

However, what I really think is the strength of this work is its emphasis.on the diffiuclties of beings trying to communicate when no short cuts, no emotional cues, no assumptions can be made.
