Comments: -Kevin Clement, a former student and now friend, had been bugging me for some time to read Lovecraft. I must confess that Lovecraft's reputation frightened me, making me leary to pick him up. However, after receieving this book as a gift from Kevin, I finally began reading the short stories. Then I found that I was having a hard time keeping my mind on my tasks--they were so well done and interesting. Still, I must say they can be desturbing, but no more than Poe is.
