Links:
What would a Sci Fi and Fantasy page be without links? The problem is that there is sooooo much stuff out there on the web. Still here goes nothing:
Local Stores:
Star
Base in Columbus: This store is fairly close to the campus and carries
all sorts of science fiction paraphernalia. It's great fun and you can go
broke in a nano-second. We must have a trip there soon.
Armory
Dragon Claw www.armoryanddragon.com
This Right next door to
Starbase in Columbus a medieval, renaissance and fantasy store.
Local Academics:
Honors
Class on Tolkien's The Two Towers. <http://nzr.mvnu.edu/faculty/trearick/english/rearick/honors/tolkien_two_towers_fall2002_sylb.htm>
This class was offered in the Fall of 2002. Some cool things and
interested links. Check it out. Note: There will be a new class on The
Return of the King next fall (2003)
semester.
Literature
of the Fantastic: (Intro to Literature (ENG 1073) This is a standard
Introduction to Literature class with an emphasis on literature of the
fantastic. What that means is that while the material in the class will
often be found in many other intro classes they will have the common quality of
also containing the impossible of the imaginative.
Special Presenation:
PowerPoint on Hogfather
